14 Weeks...memorable Memorial Day!

This week, I really found my hands.  I love to stick them in my mouth and suck on my thumb.  I also started lifting my head off the ground when I am on my back.  I am getting so strong!  I am also getting good at standing while someone is holding me.  I am finding my voice too and love to "talk" to people.
We attempted my three month pictures on Memorial Day, but I didn't want to smile.  I think I smiled, but the photographer just missed it.  We are rescheduling for another time.  We had a nice visit from Stacey and Ryan, Jaxson and Harrison too that day.  I'm so glad we have good friends.  Later, we had a barbecue at Aunt Lisa's.  While we were there, I laughed for the first time.  I was standing on Nana Arden's legs and when I dropped on my bottom, she said, "Boom!"  I thought that was really funny!
This next week is my last week at Miss Annie's.  I am so sad because she has been so good to me.  I love her so much!  But, now I get to be home with Mommy!!!

13 Weeks...Getting bigger and stonger

I am officially not a newborn anymore!  And, boy can you tell!  I am smiling and "talking"a lot more to people.  I am growing too.  I am now in size 2 diapers.  Last week, I rolled over several times to my right.  This week, I decided to roll over to my left from my belly to my back.
There aren't many pictures this week, but I have a feeling that will change once Mommy is done with school!
13 Weeks!
Just hanging out
Getting good at tummy time, but I'd rather roll over!

12 Weeks...Rolling over!!!

I am starting to get into more of a routine thanks to Miss Annie.  I am also wanting to eat more and sleep more.  That must mean a growth spurt is coming!
I may be getting a cold too.  I have started to snort and grunt again more in the morning, and Mommy thinks I sound hoarse.  I still love to smile and am very happy though!
Mommy was kind of sad today because I am no longer a newborn anymore.  But, I had a surprise for her.  I rolled over!!!  Mommy had me doing tummy time at night and I was lifting my head really high and then I realized if I leaned to my right, I started to move.  After Mommy moved the stuffed animal in my way, it was easy after that.  I did it two more times just to prove it wasn't a fluke!
Just wait to see what other tricks I have up my sleeve!

11 Weeks...Loving Miss Annie!

This was my first full week at Miss Annie's.  I really do love it there.  I enjoy watching the other kids, and she treats me so well.  I am getting better at taking the bottle too.
I am really starting to pull my head up-when I'm in my car seat, in my bouncy seat, in my swing!  I have found my fingers and like to try and grab onto things, but I usually drop them.
Daddy had a birthday this week, but unfortunately he was gone that night and I couldn't give him snuggles.  We are making up for it this weekend!
See, I am starting to lift my head!
Reunited with Mommy!
Ellie loves to make me smile

And I'm grabbing things too!  This is my Maria doll that I love so much!

10 Weeks...Changes, they are coming!

There are not as many pictures this week.  I'm not sure if that is second child picture syndrome or because Mommy went back to work this week.  Yes, that's right, no more snuggles and sleeping in!  It is only for about a month before she is home for the summer.  Miss Annie will start watching me next week, but she wasn't able to this Thursday and Friday, so Grandma Kathy came up to watch me!  It was a lot of fun spending time with her.  I did great, but sure didn't want to drink from a bottle!  I got a little better the second day, and I hope to be even better next week.  It just isn't the same!
I got to go to my cousin Jonathan's birthday party this week too, and took a walk with Mommy.
I am really focusing more on things and starting to reach for things.  I really like to suck on my arm or clothes when someone is holding me and my fingers are finding their way to my mouth.  Will I be a thumb sucker like my sister?  Only time will tell!
10 Weeks!

Happy Emily (with spit up!)
I love the music in my swing!
