15 Months...Teething time!

I was pretty crabby the past couple of weeks.  I am pretty sure I am getting the molars in on the right side.  Not too bad since I haven't complained much with any other teeth!  I fell asleep in my high chair twice in the morning.  These teeth must be keeping me up at night!  I just want Mommy to hold me all the time.  We attempted skipping morning nap again and it did NOT go well!
I really like splashing in the bath tub.  One night, I did something that felt funny before bath.  Mommy took off my clothes and diaper in the living room and then I felt something warm and wet go down my leg.  After my bath, I wanted to check out that feeling again on the bathroom rug.  I wonder what that was?
Mommy had a couple of things to do one day, so I got to hang out at Nana Arden's in the morning.  I had a lot of fun with her!  She had a couple of ladies come over for lunch and they thought I was pretty cool.
I have been able to go to Ellie's friend's houses on Tuesday evenings so they can practice soccer.  As long as I am not too crabby, I have a great time!  I really like going down the slide.  I went to a couple of Ellie's soccer games.  I don't know why they insist on keeping me in the stroller.  I just want to be an alternate player for the team.  Don't they know I'm a good dribbler?
Nana Arden and Papa Rodney like to come to Ellie's soccer games.  I think Papa Rodney is really funny.  Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Tom came to one of her games.  It was so good to see them! We went out to eat after the game and I did a lot better than the last couple of times.  They may be willing to take me out more often if I keep my hands to myself!
Mommy took Ellie and me to the Humane Society and Ellie found a dog named Iggy that she really loved, and a kitten named Dice.  Iggy licked my face, but then we left each other alone.  When Daddy went to see him, we found out more information and I don't think he will be a good fit in our family.  I know Ellie is sad, but I just like going to see the doggies and kitties at the shelter!
Mommy took me to the volunteer reception at Ellie's school and Ellie met us there.  I pulled out all the books off the shelves in the library.  When we had to leave, I was really mad and threw a fit!  But, Ellie's principal let me sit on the Shepard Stallion that I love so much!  She really likes me, so I get extra privileges!
I love to look in Ellie's little princess books and pull out the 4 books that have horses in them, and the one that has a cat and another with a tiger.  I like to say "grrrr" when I see a Tiger anywhere!  When Mommy asks me to close my eyes, I like to squint and bat my eyelashes.  People think it is really cute, so I keep doing it!
I just had my 15 month doctor appointment.  I am 32 inches tall and 23.6 pounds.  I'm really growing!

14 1/2 Months...Time outside!

I love this warmer weather because we get to spend more time playing outside.  I like to be pushed in my car, kick balls around, write with sidewalk chalk, and play in my playhouse in the backyard.
I went to a North Callaway baseball game and walked around all over the place.  I was fearless!  I have been to a couple more of Ellie's soccer games and really want to be out on the field with all the kids.  Ellie has been practicing soccer at different people's houses and I get to come along and play.  Mommy helped me go down the slide and I loved it!  It was so much fun I didn't want to stop!  We also went to my cousin Jonathan's birthday party, and over to Ellie's friend Carrie's house.  I helped Mommy pick out books for Ellie at the library too.
I have started to enter into a separation anxiety phase.  I cry like crazy when someone else wants to hold me, even with Mommy sitting a couple feet away.  Next year is going to be hard!
I like to pant when I see or hear a dog, and say "uh oh" when I drop something.  Some times, I say "dada", but not often.  When I try to repeat "mama", I say "baba".
For a couple of days, I started screaming at nap time and bedtime.  I didn't get a lot of attention, so I stopped doing that.  I have been squatting and trying to jump, walking backwards, and spinning in circles.  I like to see what my body can do!
