26 Weeks...Where did everybody go?

I turned 1/2 year this week!  It was the same day Ellie went to kindergarten.  It was really strange to be home alone with Mommy.  I keep looking for my sister.  I miss her a lot!  Mommy took me shopping that morning.  We got a surprise for Ellie for her first day, and I got a couple of new outfits (since most of my clothes are hand-me-downs) and new toys (for the same reason.)
I love to talk, and loudly at that!  I also like to use my hands.  I love to watch them and talk to them.  I'm getting really good at grabbing things, especially things I shouldn't have!  I am really interested in whatever people are eating and can't wait to get my hands on that!
I've been trying an orange vegetable mix this week for my food.  It's pretty good, but I hear I get to try fruit next week!
26 Weeks-6 Months!!!

 I hadn't seen Daddy in a couple of days.  It was good to be reunited!

25 Weeks...Kind of Cranky

I have finally mastered sitting up!  Well, I do need someone behind me in case I tip backwards, but I can sit for a while.  It is a whole new world being able to play with my toys from a different angle.  I've heard rumors that new toys would come out soon because of this!
I have been pretty crabby though this week.  I usually cry when Mommy puts me down or leaves the room.  She's not sure if it is because I am spoiled, I am bored, my teeth hurt, or maybe a combination of those things.  I'm not sure either!
This week, we had a party for Daddy's work at our house.  It was a lot of fun and I got to see a lot of people.  Plus, a lot of them wanted to hold me!  We also visited Lillian and got to go swimming in a really cool salt water pool.
Ellie goes back to school next week and I am really going to miss her.  I really seek her out and I think she is really funny!
25 Weeks-I'll be 6 months old this Thursday!

24 Weeks...Doing big girl stuff like getting baptized!

I am really losing my baby-ness!  I am starting to get on a nap schedule, at least in the morning.  Usually about two hours after waking up, I am ready for about a 1 1/2-2 hour nap.  The afternoons are a little harder.  I tend to take two one hour naps.  I am also sleeping a little better at night.  Sometimes I scream in the evenings because my teeth hurt though. 
I am really grabbing for everything too-Mommy's hair, cell phones, leaves on the trees, whatever in in front of me!  Sometimes I even get it too and don't like to let go.  Another big thing I am learning to do is sit up on my own. I also think I am ticklish.  Mommy tickles my sides and it feels funny so I laugh.
We did a lot of fun things this week too!  I went with Mommy and Ellie to Ellie's preschool reunion party and got to watch all the kids.  Ellie's friend's brother Blake held me and he did a pretty good job.  We got to go to a singing performance at the library too.  Mommy took Ellie and me to Kirksville where she went to school.  I either slept or cried most of the time though.  We really went there to visit Mommy's friend Stacey and Jaxson and Harrison.  That was a lot of fun.  We went as a family to a party for Daddy's work too.  His boss' daughter Harper held me the whole time.  We really liked each other and I talked like crazy to her!
The big news of the week was that I got baptized!  Kristy and Randy were my godparents.  My grandparents came for the occasion too.  It was a really good day.
