2 Years, 2 Months...So much Easter fun!

We had so many Easter celebrations this month!  I got to visit the Easter bunny at Bass Pro, but that didn't go like I had hoped.  He was scary!  We had an Easter party at Miss Bruna's house, and I got to dye an Easter egg!  The Easter Bunny came to our house the day before Easter, and I got a Paw Patrol book and characters and Disney princess ribbons in a Paw Patrol bucket.
We made a tour on Easter morning.  We started off at Nana Arden's, and I had to find big Easter eggs inside.  Then, we went to Washington and I had to find yellow eggs outside at Papa Ron and Nana Carol's.  I napped while everyone found their numbered eggs outside in the cold rain.  I got to find mine inside a little later.
Papa Rick came into town, and then Nana Peggy came about a week later.  I enjoyed spending time with them, and got to celebrate Easter with them too!  We went out to Cracker Barrel, and I enjoyed dipping my apple in apple butter and then just licking it off!
Daddy was off work the day after Easter, so we had a family day!  We went to the Humane Society to look at puppies and kitties!  The next day, we went to visit Mr. Kenny.  It sure was good to see him!
Mommy took Ellie and me on a trip during spring break.  We first went into St. Louis to deliver some Girl Scout cookies to Mommy's friend who had two Pomeranians.  I did NOT like them jumping on me!  Then, we went to see Papa Ron at his work for his birthday.  We went out to eat at McDonald's, and I tried to go down the slide there.  I think it was meant for bigger kids, and I ended up going down head-first.  I only did that once!  I stayed awake for a long time that day.  I napped briefly in the car on the way to see Grandma Kathy in Washington.  While we were there, we went to the riverfront and threw rocks in the river.  We went to Orange Leaf and got Papa Murphy's pizza and ate it with Grandpa Tom and Great Grandma Rose.  I also saw a turtle.  I kept saying, "That turtle is creepy!  Head out, teeth out, BITE ME!" (even though it didn't!)
We had a couple of play dates this month, and a few things for Ellie's school.  I got to go to her school concert.  I liked hearing all the music!  When Ellie's class sang "Apples and Bananas", I even tried to sing along!  Ellie and Mommy's school had a Sock Hop and I had a lot of fun there, once I warmed up.  I really liked the cookies they served, and enjoyed the bouncy toy outside on the playground.  We also went to the Fine Arts night at the school too.  I was getting pretty tired and slap-happy.  It was time to go home!
I was also able to go to several of Ellie's soccer games.  I really like going to them!  She also had a track meet and I got to watch her run around the track and cheer for her!  We went to Nana Arden and Papa Rodney's after Church one morning.  Nana Arden and Ellie played with water guns and I got soaked!
There were a couple of times when Mommy and Daddy had something to do, so Nana Arden came and stayed with us.  I really love her, and always want to talk to her on the phone.  Auntie Heather came to visit us for a couple of nights while she was in town for a conference.
Mommy noticed three splinters in my palm one day, so she got them out during a TV show.  I didn't complain one bit.  When she was done, she noticed two more in the other palm!  I didn't like it, but I let her take those out too.  She was so proud of me!  I also got to help Mommy vote this month!
I still love Ellie, but sometimes we argue.  I really don't like it when she tries to play with toys when I am playing with them.
I have so many things to say too!  Here are a few of my sayings: "Puzzles are tricky sometimes."  "I ate the carrots ALL!"  When Daddy says, "I said NO!", I like to reply, "I said YES!"  I try to negotiate for food often and say, "I want two pieces...that's all!"  I like to sing "Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do" and even attempt "Doe, a deer, a female deer!"  I say to the phone, "Siri, Gecko pictures!" "Ellie, Daddy, come up here.  I show you something important!"

Not digging this Easter Bunny thing!
But playing with the eggs is fun!
