3 Years, 10 Months...Asserting my independence!

More to come!
I really enjoyed our Thanksgiving break!  We had a fun feast at preschool before break started.  Our family went to the Mizzou volleyball game that night, and there was so much to see.  I got to meet Owi Kwekwoe (Ali Kreklow) after the game and she asked for a hug!  The next day we went to Washington for Thanksgiving at Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Tom's, and Papa Ron and Nana Carol's the next day.  We topped the trip off with the annual holiday parade.  I was super crazy silly during it.  We had Thanksgiving at Nana Arden and Papa Rodney's that Sunday after putting up all the Christmas decorations.
I have continued with dance classes this month, and they will resume after the new year.  I got to go to my friend Caleb's birthday party at a gymnastics place and had so much fun running around, doing the obstacle courses they set up, and making a few of my own!  I've been doing a lot of tagging along too.  I went to Ellie's Christmas concert for school.  I have a hard time remembering that I need to be silent during certain things.  I also went to a play date, and went to the Magic Tree lighting!  We have also had some family time lately at home and it has been nice to hang out here.
I have struggled with staying in my room and bed at bedtime.  I keep getting out (sometimes up to 10 times and 2 hours later.)  Mommy and Daddy keep saying that my brain and body need rest, but I just want to know what I am missing out on.  (I've heard Mommy did this when she was younger, so I don't know why she doesn't understand!)  In addition to this, I have been throwing some pretty good fits when I don't get what I want.  They don't go over very well.  I also started to lose my voice this month and it sounded really funny!
A couple of funny things I have said...Mommy often calls me Ellie by mistake and one time I said, "You just called me Ellie.  That's NOT my name!"  When I hurt myself, I often say, "Can I have a bandage?"
Fun in the leaves!
Yum, yum!  Turkey Day!
Going to the Mizzou volleyball game!

So much to see (not my glasses though!)

3 3/4 Years Old...Tagging along and CANDY!!!

More to come...
I was Star of the Week at school during the week of Halloween!  I got to bring pictures of me for the star board, and a book to read (The Great Gracie Chase), a movie to watch (My Little Pony Wedding), a snack to share (yogurt), and show and tell toys (My Little Ponies, of course!)  I also got to be line leader.
Our family went to the Mizzou homecoming parade this month and we got TONS of candy, just before Halloween!  I enjoyed seeing all the bands and people, and even saw the Weinermobile!  I couldn't believe that thing was real!  I was able to wear my Halloween costume twice this year.  I was Rainbow Dash at Mommy and Ellie's school's chili supper.  I loved playing outside on the playground.
I had a lot of fun on Halloween.  We had a party and parade at school.  Mommy and Ellie couldn't get there for it in time, and I just asked, "Where is my Mom?" once and then was fine.  Mommy felt bad she was late though.  The parade was funny because a giant dinosaur led us around.  We giggled so much, and giggled even harder when we realized it was Miss Kristina!  We went trick or treating after the party.  We went to Nana Arden and Papa Rodney's, back home for our neighbors Bryan and Cindy and Heather and Brad, and then Mr. Kenny's.  Then, we headed to Brynn and Blake's house to go around their neighborhood.  Mommy was helping me remember my manners, and after a few houses, I remembered to (yell), "Thank you!"  When I forgot, I would run back up to the door and yell it.
I have had a couple of accidents at home and school which is not like me.  I also figured out the sleeping thing and am usually sleeping through the night and until about 6:30.  I've been working really hard at dance and my favorite thing is when Miss Jean lets us do the "crown dance" (dance freestyle with princess crowns on.)
Mommy and Daddy went to a conference for a few days and Nana Arden stayed with us.  She and Papa Rodney spoiled us with McDonalds and Applebee's.  It was nice to have Mommy and Daddy back home though.  We also did family pictures with Daddy's family and went to Shakespeare's after.  I had fun playing with the "playdoh" (pizza dough) they tossed me!
Sometimes I have to tag along to things.  I went to Ellie's last soccer game and cheered her on at the Girls on the Run 5k.  I do enjoy asking her about her activities though.
