5 Years, 9 Months...Changes in my routine!

I am working really hard in school.  I am learning how to make my letters and numbers the right way.  And, I'm learning to read!  I love to read Junie B. Jones books.  Miss Schooler was out for a couple of days and I really liked my substitute.  I followed all the directions (unlike Junie B. Jones!)
I got to run some errands with Mommy one Saturday, and then we went to Caleb's Halloween party.  Too bad it was raining, so we had to play inside.  We also had to leave early because Aunt Michele was in town and we went to hang out at Aunt Lisa's.  I love playing games with my cousin Jacob (and I think everyone enjoys watching us play too!)
Then, the Halloween festivities really began!  We had our Halloween parties at school.  There was so much food!  I exclaimed to Miss Schooler, "I'm concerned about my diet!"  We got to go to the Monster Mash at school.  There were so many games to play and a dance and people in costumes and candy!  There was a game where you had to pop balloons by throwing bean bags.  Mommy told me to scoot closer, but I went ahead threw it.  I popped two balloons with one throw!  I dressed as Pikachu and there was another Pikachu running around!
We were off school for Halloween and the next day, and I spent the first day with Nana Arden.  We started there for trick-or-treating.  I was Pikachu, of course!  Ellie surprised me and came out dressed as a Pokemon trainer.  We went to Mr. Kenny's and made sure to stop by Bryan and Cindy's and Brad and Heather's.  We made one quick trip around the block and headed back home because it was so cold!  I had so much fun handing out candy.  I kept opening the door and yelling, "We've got candy here!!!"
We hung out with Mom the next day when we didn't have school.  That weekend, Mommy went to a Celebration of Life for her cousin Amy and I stayed at Nana Arden's.  Then, Mommy and Daddy went to their annual conference and Nana Arden stayed at our house.  Papa Rodney helped get me to school and fed me McDonald's.
Ellie was gone the next weekend because she went on a school trip to the Smoky Mountains so I got to have Mommy and Daddy all to myself!  We did a lot of Pokemon battles in the living room.  I had my first play date at my house with a friend of my own (Jonathan!)  We played bubbles and sidewalk chalk and board games and ball in the backyard.  I was invited to his house the next weekend for a playdate.
The next week was a busy one!  Mommy had parent teacher conferences and was gone a couple of nights.  Daddy was too one night so we stayed the evening at Nana Arden's.  I had my conference with Miss Schooler.  She said I am doing great with learning and even organizing my things.  I need to work on my volume and talking and staying in my spot in the morning.  We got to spend that Friday at home and we were all so tired.  I tried to learn how to tie my shoes and had a complete meltdown!  Mommy finally realized that I was hungry.  I was so much better after lunch!
I was really nervous about going to Jonathan's the next day.  I kept asking Mommy to stay with me while I was there.  Once I got to playing, I was ok.  Jonathan and I had so much fun together.  We raked up leaves and had a blast!
The next week, I had a lot of trouble at school with separating from Mommy.  I think there were so many changes in my routine that I felt really anxious.  I kept wanting to know how I was getting home (even though Mom works at school and takes me home every day.)  One morning, I cried hysterically in class because I didn't know how I was going to get home.  I wouldn't let my mom leave her office to go to short meetings or even the bathroom.  I hope this gets better soon!
