I got to start EEE on Thursday through Zoom. So far, we have just watched a bunch of fairy tail videos. I hope it gets more exciting when we get to actually go to EEE. I am really enjoying science in school. We played with a constellation app and I love looking at the stars. Mom has been able to teach me in class a few times. She read a book with an alien speaking and said she couldn't read it because it didn't have any vowels. Days later, I asked, "Are there any words with no vowels?" I definitely pay attention and am very inquisitive.
Ellie has gone to a couple of volleyball tournaments with Dad so Mom and I have had some time together. I like to cheer Ellie on, but I really do like to spend time watching Pokemon videos. When they leave for the weekend, I am able to go to puppy training with Mom and Athena. I get really sad when I am not able to hold the leash. Ellie came home one weekend with a hurt knee and I was worried about her. Thankfully, she was ok.
Our family watched the Chiefs in the Super Bowl. Well, we watched the first part of it. Dad got mad because they were not playing well. But, we got to have Shakespeare's Pizza, courtesy of Papa Rodney.
We had a huge cold streak come through the country and had quite a few snow/ice/cold days. It was mostly too cold to go outside, but we did get to go any play one day. I love to play with the dogs outside. I had a sore throat one of the days and couldn't go to school the next day. I even had to get an antigen Covid test before I could come back to school. Thank goodness it was negative, but I did have to miss school pictures. I was only able to go to school Monday and Friday that week. I said, "This is a short school week!"
This is birthday month, and it was a very strange one! Papa Ron came for a very short visit in the garage because it was so cold. We got to Zoom with Dad's family and then Facetime with Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Tom. Ellie chose donuts for breakfast and Fazoli's for her birthday dinner. I wanted to make a fun birthday surprise for her. I decorated and dressed up like Harry Potter and made her favorite foods to eat while watching Harry Potter. I wanted to do something nice for her like she does for me. I also wanted donuts for my birthday breakfast and D. Rowe's (sweet potato fries) for my birthday dinner.
Mom and Dad got their second Covid shots right before my birthday so they did not feel great. Dad took Ellie to volleyball that weekend so I didn't see much of them after we celebrated my birthday early. Mom was not feeling well at all, but took me to the park to do the Kanto region Pokemon celebration (the ticket was one of my birthday presents.) I told her that was my favorite present. Miss Maude gave me some birthday pencils for my birthday. I sure do love her!
Mom discovered boogers all over my wall by my bed the day after Dad did. I just explained, "I'm marking my territory by putting boogers on the wall." I also observed my feet one day and noticed "this thumb toe is bigger than this thumb toe. This index toe is bigger than this index toe."
