The month started with my friend birthday party at Breakout Como! I was so looking forward to this! I asked Ellie and Aaron there to help, and we didn't break out. We sure were loud though! We took my friends back to our house for cake and ice cream and playing. I asked for donations to Second Chance, but Drake got me a person-sized stuffed Peep!
I've been doing choir on Thursday mornings and have asked to not do choir next year. I also was relieved when Mom said she missed the registration for soccer. I'm interested in basketball now, but that won't start until the fall. I have just spent a lot of time this month playing with friends on my iPad. I got to have Savannah over here to play one day. I also had my parent teacher conference and it was pretty quick. I am doing very well academically, but need to work on my organizational skills. What else is new?
Dad and Ellie went to a volleyball tournament in Wichita so I got to stay home with Mom for a change. I know Mom feels bad that she is gone a lot for tournaments and it was nice to hang out with her. Mom left with Ellie the next weekend though. More time on the iPad-I can't complain! Dad and I went to Jacob's birthday party, which is his last one before he leaves for Chicago this summer.
Grandma Kathy came up to Columbia to spend two nights with us. She came with us to school for Hero Day and I got to show her off to my friends and teacher. I loved having her here, even though I was very into playing on my iPad. We had a day off on the day she left so I got to entertain myself. I am liking my alone time though, so it wasn't so bad.
10 Years Old!!!
Getting ready to break out!
