2 Years Old...I really am a BIG GIRL!!!

I finally turned 2!!! I have been saying I am 2 for a long time. It was finally my turn for a birthday! I am learning how to be patient and share. I got to go to Bella's birthday party where there was swimming, a bounce house, and soccer. I really loved swimming like Boots does in my Dora book. I loved to kick my legs in the water. I also liked to shoot basketballs there. I heard Ellie had a friend party too, but I think I slept through it. I got to celebrate on her birthday though-Mommy took us to HyVee for donuts, to the Humane Society to see the doggies and kitties, and we all went to Orange Leaf! Ellie and I had our family party the day before my birthday. I wasn't sure what to think or do when everyone sang Happy Birthday to me. I knew just what to do with those presents though!
We had a lot of other activities the past couple of weeks. I got to go to a couple of play dates with Ellie's friends again. We had a fun Valentine's party at Miss Bruna's. Ellie and I got our 2-year and 7-year pictures taken too. I cried a lot of the time because I wanted Mommy to hold me. Once I couldn't see her, I did much better!
Miss Bruna broke her leg, so I have been home for a while. It will be at least two weeks. So far, Daddy stayed with me one day when he had a snow day. Mommy took a day off and we had a lot of fun and ran errands. Nana Arden has been coming over a lot too. I really like playing with her. Aunt Michele came into town too, so I was able to spend some time with her. I have just been really tired lately. I don't want to get up in the morning and want to take a morning nap. I say, "Night-night, please!" It must be a growth spurt!
I have been talking so much more lately. When someone trips or does something that seems unsafe, I say, "Careful! Careful!" I also love to tell people to be quiet, even when they aren't talking. I get a funny reaction, but I'm not quite sure what it means. I like to ask, "What is that one called?" when I don't know the name of something. I also say, "I yone know" (when I don't know!)

23 1/2 Months...Ear infections

I was sick a lot the past couple of weeks! I had a 103.1 degree fever and Dr. Prica said I had an ear infection in my right ear. Because I was so miserable, Mommy decided to fill the prescription. I did OK until 2 days after the medicine was done. I spiked another 103 degree fever. This time, I saw Dr. Weston and he said I still had an ear infection in my right ear. I also had a loose cough and drippy nose. I was put on stronger medicine and seem to be better. I did get some good days at home with Mommy and Daddy out of it though!
We got to go to Orange Leaf to celebrate Ellie's math accomplishment. I love the frozen yogurt, but I really love to climb through the chairs!
Bella came here for a play date with Ellie, and I went to the play date at Brynn's. I missed the one at Bella's because I was sick. Miss Rachel came over for a visit one Friday night, but I was feeling pretty yucky and tired, so I cried the whole time and went to bed early.
Our family went to Math night at Ellie's school. I had fun running up and down the halls and watching all the kids. I really am comfortable there!
Ellie and I also went to Nana Arden and Papa Rodney's one evening when Mommy and Daddy went to Daddy's work party. I had a couple of times when I wasn't so such I wanted to be without Mommy, but I did OK. We had so much fun watching the planes and animals outside. I think they may have spoiled me with ice cream and chocolate syrup though! I think I'll go back.
I am learning a lot. I can sing the whole ABC song, and I recognize quite a few letters (A, B, E, O, l). I can also count to 11! I am really good at galloping as well. I'm not sure about the potty training thing, but I did go poopy in Miss Bruna's potty! I also asked Mommy to go poopy when we were at the doctor's the 2nd time, and I did! Mommy was so proud of me!
