5 Years, 5 Months...Family time!

We went to the Frankenberg Fest this month.  It was a lot of fun meeting Mommy's relatives.  I enjoyed swimming and the bounce house, and playing, but had a meltdown and we had to leave a little earlier than planned.  I just couldn't stop crying for some reason.
Mommy took me to a Cardinals game!  We were supposed to go as a family to meet up with Heather's family, but Ellie had a Fine Arts performance that night.  Daddy stayed to watch that and we took Marion and Autumn.  I really enjoyed having a friend my age to play with.  We used to hang out all the time as babies (but I don't remember it!)  The Cardinals lost by the way.  :(
We also went to Six Flags as a family with Auntie Heather and family.  It was so miserably hot at first, but got better.  Mommy and Daddy are convinced I have PTSD about some of the rides.  I still talk about the Mine Train (which I did ride) and the Screaming Eagle (which I did not ride) daily.  I mention it any time we are in the car and on a country road.
I finished up summer school.  I really had a great time.  I loved Mrs. Huhman and the friends I made and Kids in the Kitchen.  I can't wait for real kindergarten to start!  We went school supply shopping!  It was pretty exciting getting my backpack ready to go!
For the Fourth of July, we went over to Aunt Lisa's for a BBQ.  I love going over there!  We decided to stay at home again this year and watch the fireworks from our driveway.  I was thrilled by the whole experience and kept saying, "This is the best night ever!"  When asked why, I said, "Fireworks, Aunt Lisa, and s'mores!"
I had my annual dentist appointment and got a good report. We went to the spray park as a family and had so much fun getting each other wet! Papa Ron came here to take Mommy to lunch for her birthday so I got to see him for a little bit.  We also had Mommy and Aunt Lisa's birthday celebration at Nana Arden's and I got to play with my cousins.
I have been kind of a Mommy's girl lately.  Mommy and Ellie went to our next door neighbors' house for a little bit and I was at home with Daddy.  I decided to just walk out the front door over to their house without telling anyone.  I probably should not have done that because everyone looked scared and a little mad.  I just wanted to go see Mommy.
I got to have a camp out in the living room with Mommy one night.  Ellie was supposed to join us, but she got invited to Ella's house.
Ellie was gone to volleyball camp for a week, so I got to have a lot of one-on-one time. I really enjoy playing Hoot Owl Hoot and Pokemon Top It (War) over and over and over again!  I also am totally digging Pokemon yoga!  I take it very seriously! Miss Rachel brought Lennon and Dylan here while she had an appointment and I had a BLAST playing with Lennon (who is 2 1/2 years younger than I am!)  It was nice being the big kid for a change.  Mommy and I also helped move Daddy into his new office.
Ellie has had a lot of friends over to spend the night and I am a little embarrassed.  (That's the word I use when I mean any feeling.  In this case, I am told the real word is jealous.)  I can't wait to have friends of my own over!  I did get to go to Luna's birthday party at Bonkers and see a lot of my preschool friends.  I really miss them, especially Nori but she wasn't there.
Mommy asked me how I got taller, and my immediate answer was, "Food and birthdays!"  I also always have to say the following things before bed-"Good night, have sweet dreams, I love you, see you in the morning."  Every night!
