7 Years, 5 Months...Fun Summer Activities!!!

I am absolutely loving summer school!  I love being with my friends.  I am making so many new friends.  I wrote a book called "Disco Cat" and my friend at EEE summer school was supposed to color my illustrations but he never came back.  :(  My second class was Fractured Fairy Tales and I liked that one too, but not as much as the Authors as Artists. My last class is Summer Olympics 2020-One.  I am learning so much about Greek gods and goddesses and Olympic athletes, like Michael Phelps, Usain Bolt, and Simone Biles.  I'm sad summer school is almost over too.  I really hope we have some good plans for the rest of the summer!

I played a lot of soccer this month, and a lot of soccer was cancelled because of the rain.  Good thing we got to make up most of it.  I really enjoyed it.  Jacob, Nana Arden, and Papa Rodney even came to one of my games, and Nana Arden made it to one of my make up games.  I am also loving swimming lessons.  I'm sad that it is going to end tomorrow.  We were supposed to go to the swimming pool twice for EEE summer and both times it was cancelled.  The first one was made up but we ended up going mini-golfing instead.  We were also supposed to go to a movie but it was cancelled too!  I handled the disappointment well.

I had a sore throat during summer school that turned into a yucky cold.  Because of Covid, I stayed home for two days and got a negative Covid test (thank goodness!)  I did not like the strep and Covid swabs at all.  I was very brave but it was very uncomfortable.  The negative test came just in time for the 4th of July.  Aunt Lisa's family came over here to celebrate and enjoy the fireworks and we went over there for a BBQ the next day.

Our family went blueberry picking and we got a whole bunch of them! I like blueberry pancakes just as much as chocolate chip pancakes.  Mom found a volleyball clinic for younger players that I went to.  I didn't know anyone, but I had a lot of fun!  I hope they do that again.  Mom took Ellie and me to Washington for the Frankenberg Fest. I had a lot of fun in the pool and then I played with a lot of my bigger extended cousins inside.  We celebrated Father's Day with Dad's family a week late.  We also celebrated Mom's birthday this month.  And, I got rid of my high back booster seat.  Now I just have a regular booster.  I sure am growing up!
