Nana Arden, Papa Rodney, Aunt Lisa and family came over here for BBQ and volleyball on Father's Day. I thoroughly enjoyed talking Pokemon with Camille! We had so much fun that they came another time to play volleyball. Camille wasn't able to come that time, but she called on Mommy's birthday for us to talk and give Mom a break from talking about Pokemon. On Mommy's birthday, we decided to get her donuts in the morning and a cookie cake. Then we had Chipotle for dinner. I was so proud of the "surprise party" that I threw her. The three of us went downstairs and hid and said surprise when we called her downstairs!

Some other fun things happened this month. Salamence finally came! I bought him with my birthday money and he came in 3 1/2 months later. "I'm more than happy to have Salamence!" I got to have my first stick of gum! I didn't know what to think at first and didn't understand why there was so much spit in my mouth. After a while though, I think I kind of liked it!

I had a water gun fight with Mommy and another time with Ellie and Daddy. He used the hose-no fair!

Speaking of "fair", I have decided that I like "fair" numbers. Mom calls them even numbers, but I just know that anything I have to do has to be a fair number. My favorite number is 18.

Ellie created a Pokemon party for me-complete with decorations, food, and a movie! Ellie planned a picnic date for Mommy and Daddy, but I wanted to join them and that really upset Ellie. I just wanted to be with them! These were the inspiration for the "surprise party" I did for Mom.

I am really enjoying chapter books lately. Mommy and I read all of the Magic Tree House books and are now working on the Bailey School Kids books. Ellie's 3rd grade teacher (Mrs. Mantle) rounded up a crate full of books for me and I have loved reading them!

I have played a lot of Pokemon Go. I made a few extra friends, including Mrs. Mantle's son. Harrison and I have figured out how to talk on Messenger Kids while playing so it is almost like we are next to each other. I think I got Mommy and Daddy hooked on playing too because they have it on while they go for their runs and walks.

I got to go to Luna's house for a pool/Harry Potter birthday party. I haven't been with my own friends since we got out of school on March 17th. I really haven't complained much about it, even though Ellie has had lots of play dates and volleyball. It was really fun to play with Luna and Reagen. I loved swimming and we stayed for about 4 hours!

We attempted to go on a float trip with Auntie Heather and family and drove the 2 1/2 hours when it started storming. We decided to take a "rain check" and go another time. On our way back, we went to Central Dairy in Jefferson City and drove around the old state penitentiary. And of course, did some Pokemon Go!

Luckily, we were able to redo the float trip a couple weeks later. We went in a school bus on the way to where they dropped us off and I had to wear a mask. I did a really good job and didn't complain at all. I was a little skeptical of the water at first, but then had a blast! I loved going down the current and swimming and walking in the river.

We did our regular annual 4th of July-stayed home, ate 'smores, and watched fireworks from our driveway. The full moon looked really cool and I loved staying up late!

Ellie and I finally got our hair cut! We had an appointment scheduled in March but it got cancelled and we finally rescheduled this month. I really liked it at first but then felt jealous when Miss Kaitlyn curled Ellie's hair. So, Mom curled my hair and all was good.

Can't wait to see what next month brings!
