I got to bring donuts to school for my birthday and asked for extras to pass out to teachers (mom didn't get one!)
We finished up Math Club after all the snow days. I worked so hard on my project, but somehow lost it between Mrs. Heath's room and my mom's room. We searched everywhere and can't find it. I was so disappointed. We were working on a project in school for an Antarctica animal and I chose the Arctic Fox. I created an optional diorama, wrote a report, and made a huge poster for our Antarctica Night at school. It was fun showing off my work and seeing my friends.
We had a couple more snow days (of course one was on a Thursday!) We missed 3 of 4 Thursdays in February, which are my EEE days. I also had a fever and sore throat this past week Wednesday so I couldn't go to school on Thursday. I was so disappointed that I missed again! I also missed one of Ellie's volleyball tournaments in Linn because I wasn't feeling well.
I did get to go to two overnight tournaments for Ellie and spent the night in a hotel two nights in a row, two weekends in a row! I went to the pool both times with Mom, but it was freezing! I did a really good job of entertaining myself during the tournaments. And they sure were LONG! I made a friend with one of Ellie's teammate's sisters. Lilah is 2 years older than me but we had a lot of fun. We did good luck "magic bringer" before important serves and points.
Mom had parent teacher conferences so dad took over. We went to my conference and Mrs. Heath talked about my writing and how great of a friend I am to all the students in the class. Mom and Dad were really proud of me. Mom took me to part of the Pokemon Go Fest. We got to hang out with Lillian and Grayson, but it was cold outside! Our church has a pancake party where the youth group (Ellie's age) made pancakes for the young kids. It was really good and a lot of fun to hang out with my church friends. I also started soccer again and can't wait to have more practices!
