I have had a lot of soccer games this month. Aunt Lisa and Nana Arden came to one and I played goalie. I took a ball to the face and it hurt, but I blocked the ball! All three sets of grandparents came to another game and I got to play goalie and defense, just like I like. We had a relaxing lunch at our house and went out for Andy's with Papa Ron and Linda afterwards. It was so nice to spend time with (almost) all of my grandparents.
Our last soccer practice was cancelled because of the rain and I was sad I didn't get to be with my soccer friends one last time. We played against my Church friend Wesley in our last game and we dominated! Afterward, Wesley and another friend and I played for a long time together. We had so much fun that we had a play date at Wesley's house the next day! After that, we went to The Roof (restaurant) to celebrate Pastor Michael's 10 year anniversary with the Church. They made us quesadillas and French fries that were really yummy (except for the cheese.)
Dad had surgery for his hurt back and Papa Rodney and Nana Arden brought me to and from school that day. I got my toe caught under a door at school that day and didn't go to soccer practice that night. I think we all needed some healing time! I have been going to a lot of Ellie's events or playing Roblox on the iPad. I always want to be on screens and get upset when I can't.
There has been so many fun things going on at school since MAP testing finished. We had PJ day, fort and movie day, and field day. My favorite part of field day was the bounce house. Our field trip was cancelled because of the rain, so our teachers planned a fun day at school. I decided to stay at school for a fun day instead of going to EEE. I'm sure there will be more fun the last two days of school!
