3 Years, 11 Months...Parties, parties, and more parties

This month started out with party after party after party!  We had our Christmas party at preschool.  I enjoyed looking at all the presents under the tree and was so excited, it was hard to wait to open mine!  Santa also came, but I knew it was just someone dressed up as Santa!
The next day was our family Christmas at home.  It was so nice to have the whole day to enjoy opening and playing with our toys.  Santa gave me a giant unicorn (I wanted a real one!) and a My Little Pony microphone.
The next day, we traveled to Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Tom's.  It was a lot of fun playing Barbies there before waiting for present time.  I got Spikie-Wikie.  I know it came from Grandpa Tom because he gave it to me!
The next day, we had 3 Christmases!  We started off at Papa Ron and Nana Carol's.  We had a fun dance party with Papa Ron and enjoyed taking pictures and opening presents.  After this, we stopped by Great Grandma Rose's house to visit her since she couldn't make it the day before.  Since she was sick, we couldn't get too close, but Ellie and I entertained her with our craziness and I had major static hair because of the wood heat.  Since it was early enough, we unloaded our car, picked up Molly, and went to Nana Arden and Papa Rodney's.  Jonathan and Jacob dressed up as crazy animals to make me laugh and we had a fun time with our cousins.  It was so nice to make it there for Christmas too, but it was a very long day!
After we got up the next day, we went to visit Mr. Kenny.  It was so good to see him and his dogs!  I think he was happy to see us too.  He had his Christmas village up, and Miss Annie would have loved it!
Mommy took Ellie and me to Kirksville to visit Stacey and her family over break.  It was a lot of fun playing with Jaxson and Harrison and meeting baby Carter.  I got to swing on a fun swing in their basement and jump in a bounce house.  It was a long drive up there and back, and the whole way, I "read" my Rudolph book.  Mommy couldn't believe it, but I had actually memorized the whole thing word for word!  I am so obsessed with him that I asked for a Rudolph birthday party!
Our family enjoyed some family time of a little shopping and watching a lot of movies.  It was nice to all be together with no where to go and relax and have fun.  We went to Old Navy one day, and I loved the dog there.  I named him "Firebolt" and said that "Firebolt and Molly can be friends and talk dog Spanish together."  Yeah, I'm pretty silly.
For New Year's Eve, we went to Blake and Brynn's house again.  The kids played downstairs while the adults played games upstairs.  We watched a movie and went wild!  We had a little too much fun, and I bonked heads with another boy.  My night was pretty much over by then-I was so tired so Daddy took me home.
Ellie had a couple of play dates at our house and even though I was included in some of the games, Ellie definitely was not wanting me to be around.  I didn't understand because we have so much fun together, so I ended up playing with Mommy and Daddy more.  I also perfected my puzzle assembling skills.  I can now put 100 piece puzzles together by myself!
I also tag along to Ellie's volleyball games and have to entertain myself.  Just wait until I have a social life of my own!  I did get to go to a birthday party for Nori, my best friend.  It was at the same gymnastics place as before, and Mommy works with the teacher there!  She was really nice and we had a lot of fun running around.
I got my hair cut one day.  I didn't want it cut, but Mommy said it looks a lot better.  It is a little shorter in the back to cut off the dead ends, and the top part of my hair appears to be thicker!  I started dance back up too.  Then, school started back, except we had a 4 day weekend because of the cold and ice!  I didn't understand why I couldn't go "sled riding" when it was 3 degrees outside!  Luckily, we were able to play in the snow one day while Ella was here.  It was a dry snow, so we didn't get to sled or build snowmen much, but it was fun to be out there!
I have really not been sleeping well.  I don't want to go to bed at night and it is sometimes 9:30/10:00 before I stop coming out of my room.  I say I have to go to the bathroom or I want the other lights off in the house or any number of excuses.  I also don't always sleep through the night, although I do fall back asleep easier in the middle of the night.  And, sometimes I am up really early and don't always nap.  I don't understand why Mommy and Daddy get so frustrated!
As much as I frustrate them with my lack of sleeping, I know they really do love me.  I give them lots of big snuggles all the time, and I am usually pretty good with using my manners.
