36 Weeks...Happy Halloween!!!

What a fun week!  We started by going to the Mizzou homecoming parade.  It was fun watching everyone, but I got pretty tired and fell asleep on Mommy.  I got to watch Ellie play soccer outside with Mommy and Daddy.  It's a lot of fun watching her fun around and play.  I can't wait until I can do that too!
Other things we did this week-helped in the workroom, made trips to HyVee, SAMs, Wal-Mart, and walked with Marion and Autumn.  It was so cold Thursday that we walked at the mall.  There were so many things to look at there!  Mommy's friend Stephanie visited us one afternoon and she really wanted to hold and snuggle me.  Little did she know, I want to MOVE!  Mommy took us to the park after Ellie got out of school one afternoon.  I had a lot of fun on the swings, and giggled a lot.
I am starting to really splash a lot in the bathtub.  I love crawling to the bathroom anytime someone goes in there.  I cry if they close the door!  I really like to stand at the side of the tub while Ellie is taking her shower.  I also stick my tongue out a lot when I am happy and excited.  I have started to say a lot of repeating syllables, like "mamama", "bababa", "papapa", "dadada".  If only they understood what I was trying to say!  I love play with paper and anything plastic and crinkly.  It all tastes delicious!  I love reading books too.  My favorites are Skippy Jon Jones Up and Down and Goodnight Moon.  And boy, do I love to try and climb!  Just look out!
Today is Halloween and I was a turkey.  I went to the Halloween party at Ellie's school and then visited Annie and Kenny.  They are going to watch me a couple days next week while Mommy is at a conference.  I heard that means Mommy is leaving for a few days and I think she is a little sad.  I don't know what that means, but I'll find out soon.

35 Weeks...What else is there for me to learn?

Not only am I really good at pulling up to stand and cruise, it is my favorite thing to do!  I am figuring out how to ease myself down to sit too.  It won't be long before I am walking, because I already want to try to stand and balance.  I even crawled into the bathroom when Mommy was helping Ellie in the shower and I climbed and sat on top of the step stool!  I have also waved and clapped, but not consistently.  I love to do "so big" and throw my arms up in the air!
Our family went to Ellie's school for the Stallion Stampede.  It was nice to be outside and I loved watching Ellie run around with her friends.  I helped Mommy out at school and was really good and patient.  I also ran errands with her for a few hours and didn't cry once!  We got to go to the library this week and Marion and Autumn came too!  We got to walk with them the next day.  Mommy had some counselor friends over one night and it was good to see other people in the house!  Daddy was home this Friday during the day.  We missed him because he has been gone a lot of nights lately.
I got to try some banana puffs.  I wasn't sure what to do with them.  I liked to rake them with my hands and then hide them in my high chair.  When Mommy put one in my mouth, I pushed it around with my tongue.  I'll get the hang of it soon enough.  I did start biting Mommy when I am nursing.  I just want to know what will happen, and I don't think she likes it!

34 Weeks...Crawling and Cruising!

I am very much on the move now!  I am consistently moving to a new location or cruising along the couch.  I have been able to push myself up to sit.  Mommy came in after one long nap and I was sitting up playing.  The crib mattress got lowered right after that!  Daddy also put up a gate to the stairs.  How did he know where I was planning on going next?
We have gone to another North Callaway and Mizzou volleyball game.  I really enjoy looking at everyone there and playing.  My favorite toy these days is a water bottle.  I could play with one of those for hours!  I went with Mommy to help in the workroom again, but I don't like being on the floor in there.  I did try to climb on a recycling bin and it fell over.  I hung on by one hand really well until Mommy rescued me!  We also went for a walk with Marion and Autumn.
Stacey and the boys came to visit us this week, and we went to Aunt Lisa's to celebrate Papa Rodney's birthday again.
