While waiting for Frozen 2 to come out, our family had a Frozen family night. I wasn't as into the movie as Ellie was. When Papa Rick and Nana Peggy came to visit, they took us to see Frozen 2. I really liked that one! Olaf was my favorite! We also did family pictures with Daddy's side of the family.
Thanksgiving was a busy time. We put up our Christmas tree the day before Thanksgiving. We drove to Washington first, and I kept calling Hermann "Hermannton". We had one day at Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Tom's, the next at Papa Ron's, and another one at Nana Arden and Papa Rodney's. It was a busy time! That was the same week Papa Rick and Nana Peggy was in town too, so we also did Thanksgiving with them at Bob Evans'.
We are definitely getting ready for Christmas. I can't wait! I haven't been as interested in our Elf Elmo, but I am really excited about Santa coming and seeing family! Our school had a Christmas concert and kindergarten sang three songs. The first one was a Christmas parade while the 1st and 2nd graders marched into the gym. The next was Rudolph, complete with hand motions, and finally Rock Around the Christmas Tree. Ellie also had a concert that night as well as at the mall the next week. Papa Ron came up to see that and we got to go out to McDonald's-my favorite!
Mom took me (while Dad stayed home with Ellie for her activities) to Washington (through Hermannton again) for the Frankenberg Christmas. After about 5 minutes, I told Mommy I was ready to go home. We played a lot of card games and then I met some of her cousins while we ate. Then, I met all the fun cousins! I didn't want to leave! We played so many different games, and I even got to ride in a fire truck! Apparently, that's what the Frankenberg's do instead of a Santa visit!
This last week of school before break started with two snow days. Ellie and I played in the cold for over an hour and enjoyed hot chocolate at the end. The next day, Mom and Dad came out to play. We did lots of sledding, snow angels, had snowball fights, and made snow ice cream! Our first day back was busy. We had PJ day and went on our first field trip to the planetarium. I was really scared to go on the bus because there are no seat belts, but ended up having a lot of fun when I knew it was safe. I felt like I was moving at the planetarium when the stars came out! Finally, we had our school Christmas party and played games, made crafts, and ate yummy food!
