4 Years, 1 Month Old...Fun times!

I've become accustomed to movie night in our house on the weekends because Ellie has sleepovers a lot.  I love being able to choose the movie, and it usually involves My Little Ponies.  Actually, a lot of things involve Ellie-volleyball games, play dates, her choir concert.
I have been going to dance consistently though.  I told Mommy that I didn't want to do dance anymore.  I may be interested in gymnastics or who knows what else!  I still need to finish this year out and we will have a recital in June.
I did get to spend a few hours with Nana Arden and Papa Rodney while Mommy and Daddy went on their first date since before I was born!  I had a lot of fun over there and enjoyed the extra attention.  The next afternoon, we got to go to Aunt Lisa's for Jacob's birthday party.  I love eating dessert before dinner.  (In fact, I have gotten into the habit of asking for dessert every night even though it rarely happens!)
My behavior is getting better at school and I haven't had many time-outs at all.  I had one when I was in time-out in the pre-k room and I kicked another kid when I was mad, but that is all.  My friends and I do like to say "bathroom words" and we tell each other we are not each other's best friends, but it's much better than it was!
Too bad my nighttime is not getting any better.  I usually come out of my room 6 times on average before going to sleep.  It doesn't bother me at all, but Mommy and Daddy aren't very excited to see me when I come out.  I just don't get it!
One random Sunday, we had the most beautiful snow.  The flakes were huge, and wet, and fluffy.  It made for great snowman making and snowball throwing.  We had several piles of snow and one I called a fort for my "pretection" (protection.)  After playing in the snow with Mommy (Ellie was with a friend), we played several games, and snuggled in the chair.  I said, "We're doing a lot of fun things today!"
Luckily, the weather is getting a little warmer and I have been able to play outside some.  I love to blow bubbles and draw with chalk and really just do whatever Ellie is doing.  She doesn't care for that much though.
I have been learning about St. Patrick's Day at school.  I came home one day and said, "There are little mosquitoes with orange hair that will bite you if you don't wear green."  Mommy said she thought I needed to learn a few more things before sharing that with others.
I have been obsessed with things going down the drain and have had a few fits when my plate gets rinsed off.  I'm fine if it is being washed in the sink because I get to play in the bubbles.  I also ask for "bandages" for boo-boos often (never Band-Aids.)
One Saturday, I randomly said, "Mommy, you are not married to Daddy anymore.  It makes me jealous.  Daddy, I want to marry you!"  I have definitely been a Daddy's girl lately.

Would you believe I used to be terrified of the Abominable Snow Monster?

So rare that I fell asleep on Daddy
I think he kind of enjoyed it!
