We had another snow day and late start at kick off the month. I have been busy on Thursdays with Choir in the morning, and my EEE Italian class during the day. We had a food day at EEE and I brought in some authentic Italian candy. Our school had basketball tryouts and about 50 students tried out. I’m pretty sure I’m not going to make it. I still like basketball though! I also made it into the school spelling bee! Mom and Dad were both there to watch me. I made it into the final 6 spellers, and we all messed up on our words (intertwined) and got another chance. I messed up on fascinated, even though I knew how to spell it. I was so disappointed, and tears sprang into my eyes and I went to hug Dad. I really thought I was going to win.
I got to celebrate Emerson's birthday at his house with a game day
with him and Westley. We had a game day
at school and Mrs. Sexton set up tents for us to hang out in. It was a lot of fun. Church had a Pancake dinner for Fat Tuesday,
and Mom and I rushed home to watch the CRE Masked Singer online.
Ellie and I had our family birthday party and we enjoyed having
our family here. It was smaller than
usual with no Heather or Kristy and families, but that was ok. We also sent to get our birthday pictures and
had a lot of fun posing together. I am
in an Olivia Rodrigo phase and tried to look like her. We also did our traditional Super Bowl watch
party with pizza pillows.
We had a couple of days off for conferences and President’s
Day. Ellie had doctor's appointments on
a day off, so I spent most of the day home alone. I did really well by
myself. Our family went to one of
Ellie's volleyball tournaments. I entertained myself as best as I could. Mom and I hung out under a table during part
of it just for fun.
I went to Savannah's house the next day to play. Savannah,
Cole (her brother), and I made a movie trailer together. I went to play
at Autumn's house the next day. And, I
got to bring cupcakes to school for my birthday! My friend party will be a little bit later.
