42 Weeks...A change in routine

This week was really different.  First of all, we found out that Miss Annie died on December 6th.  It happened so fast and I know everyone is really sad.  She was an amazing woman!  I am so glad I was able to be loved by her for the time that I was with her.  Our family went to the visitation and it was really sad.  We made a promise to visit Mr. Kenny often.  Mommy and Daddy went to the funeral without me and Nana Arden came over.  The other strange thing about that day was that Ellie was home from school.  She had a really high fever and missed a couple days of school.  It was strange to have everyone home during the week.  All I want to do is play with her (and by play with, I mean climb on, beat on, and pull hair), but she isn't in the mood.  I had a little bit of a runny nose last week, but nothing like this.  Ellie just keeps telling me it is "doctor's orders" to stay away from her!
We also had someone named St. Nicholas visit us and leave stuff in our stockings.  I wasn't sure exactly what this meant or if I was supposed to look inside, but it was a fun surprise once I figured out it was OK!  Daddy said opening presents may last forever because of how long I took to pull stuff out of my stocking!  Mommy also took Ellie and me to Washington for Nana Carol's family Christmas celebration.  That was a long day, and I did great with napping and nursing in the car.  I haven't quite gotten back on schedule though.
I went to the workroom Monday, but because I was so exhausted and didn't get a nap, we skipped the library.  The next day, we went to the mall to walk with Marion and Autumn again.  Mommy and Daddy took Ellie to the library to read to dogs and I got to hang out with them too.
I am really starting to move too!  I like to bear crawl instead of crawling sometimes, but I am getting really fast!  Mommy got out a walker and I am figuring out how to walk while holding onto it.  I love to stand up in the middle of a room.  I think I am really big stuff!
