13 1/2 Months...Spring break family time!

Ellie was on spring break to start off this month.  We did lots of errands like SAMs, HyVee, Wal-Mart, library, and went to the Humane Society twice.  I love seeing those kitties!  We also made a trip to Washington and visited Grandma Kathy, played at the Missouri riverfront, had breakfast at Grandma Rose's, went to St. Louis to have lunch with Papa Ron, and visited Nana Carol.  Ellie had three of her friends over for a play date and I liked playing with them.  While they were here, everyone was pretty sure I said, "mama" to get Mommy's attention while I was in my high chair!  I am also blowing kisses and giving high fives!
Daddy left for a conference and was gone for a couple of days, but then he had a few days off for spring break.  We went to see the Easter Bunny at Bass Pro.  I didn't cry, but I wasn't too thrilled to be on his lap.  Mommy left to do curriculum writing for a couple of days and I had a blast hanging out with Daddy!  We played a lot!  Papa Rick and Nana Peggy came for a visit from Tucson for about 5 days.  We got to see them a lot!  We had dinner at our house once and at Aunt Lisa's a couple of times.  I loved having Papa Rick read to me.
Easter was a lot of fun!  The Easter bunny came to our house the day before and left a basket for Ellie and me.  I got some princess cups, yogurt melts, and balls.  Ellie set up an egg hunt for me to practice and showed me what to do.  We went to Nana Arden and Papa Rodney's for breakfast and an egg hunt.  I did a good job finding all the big eggs and putting them in my basket.  I figured out that I had to hold the handle at the top, or all the eggs would fall out!  We went to Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Tom's and ate lunch, had an egg hunt, and played with my cousins.  It was a very full day!
I have started holding things over my head and dropping them behind me.  I also like to get onto riding toys, but always get on the left side and lift my left leg.  I haven't figured out that I end up riding it backwards!  I got my 7th tooth, the third one on the bottom (on the right.)  No one even knew I was cutting a tooth!  I wonder if another one is on the way on the other side.  We also checked out a daycare for me for next year.  I cried the whole time, but I think that is because my nap was all messed up.  I liked watching the other kids and seeing what they had outside for me to get into!
