16 1/2 Months...Summer for everyone!!!

We did some fun stuff  the last couple of weeks.  We went to the library again.  I love playing there!  Ellie and I had play date at Brynn's house.  The other kids all went in the swimming pool and all I wanted to do was climb the deck stairs. I had a fun play date at Autumn's house too.  She and I insisted on sitting on the same ottoman even though there was plenty of room on the floor.  We also liked playing with the Cheerios, regardless of all the toys that were around.  Bella was here for an all day play date with Ellie, and we all went to the pool one day!  That was so much fun playing in all the water and getting splashed and climbing up the stairs to the slide.  Mommy wouldn't let me go down for some reason.  Too bad there were no pictures!
Mommy went to a conference for a couple of days and Nana Arden came to stay with me.  We had a lot of fun!  She also stayed with me when Mommy and Daddy had a meeting.  I liked to knock on the door and have Nana Arden tell me to come in.
We all went to Washington for the Frankenberg Fest.  It was a lot of fun playing with Mommy's cousins' kids.  I really liked going down the baby slide and riding on the small teeter-totter.  I wish we had gotten pictures of this day too!
We hosted a really fun 4th of July party at our house.  So many people came, including Nana Arden and Papa Rodney and all my cousins!  I think there was some stuff that happened outside after I went to bed, but I was too tired to even notice!
I started swimming lessons too!  I wasn't too sure at the first lesson.  That water was really really cold!  I screamed for about the first 15 minutes until I got interested in the balls and the blue and white flags hanging above me.  Lessons have gotten better since, but they sure are tiring!
Things are a little different at our house.  Both Daddy and Ellie are home from school for a while.  My days with just Mommy are numbered.  I am also only nursing at morning and night now.  I never was one who needed that, but it is hard to give it up for both of us!  I miss those times, but it is nice to have the family all together.
I am now in size 4 diapers!  I'm getting to be so big!  My words are also starting to become familiar.  It is really hard for me to get the right sounds out, even though I know what the word is.  I do say "mama" (only when bribed), "go" (when I see a Cardinal or a banana), "dada", and can repeat "cat" sometimes.  I also say "doe, doe, doe" when I see a Dora!
I have really started to take longer naps, usually 2 2-hour naps a day.  For a while, I was sleeping 16 hours a day.  Then, we realized I had a fever and a little diarrhea.  Good thing it was a fast virus!  However, the long naps and sleeping in have stayed.  I think part of that is because those later swimming lessons are wearing me out!
Just me and my pacifier-not ready to give those up yet!

I'm not so sure about this, Mommy!
Well, it's not so bad with the ball I guess
