Our Baby Boyer 2: 2 Years, 1 Month...All about the Slides!

I got to have another week home with Nana Arden while Miss Bruna's leg was healing. Nana Arden and I had so much fun! When I went back to Miss Bruna's, she had a new helper for a few days named Hannah. I liked her alright, but did not want her to change my diaper! I threw a fit and Miss Bruna had to stand close and hold my hand.

I have gone on a lot of errands with Mommy and I do a really good job. I especially like to look for the big tiger and get a slice of cheese at HyVee.

Mommy and Ellie took me to my 2 year check-up with Dr. Prica. No shots until I am 5!!! I am 29.2 pounds and 35 1/2 inches tall. I also got to wear a ponytail for the first time. It's small, but it's there!

I got to go to my first friend birthday party for Eli at Bonkers. I loved playing on the slide and climbing, but not the bouncing! The next day, our family went to Jacob's birthday party. I got to celebrate my birthday at Miss Bruna's about a month late. It was so nice of her to still throw me a party even though she had a boo-boo on her leg! She gave me a Cinderella doll and we had orange cupcakes!

We have had a few play dates too and I love to play with the kids. I always ask to see fishies (that are at Bella's) and to hug Carrie.

I caught Ellie's cold and ended up with a fever and yucky eyes. I went to see Dr. Terrell at Dr. Prica's office just in case and he said it was viral, so eye drops wouldn't help it. I was the hit at the office though. I was so social and talked up a storm. Everyone thought I was so funny and cute! I couldn't breathe one night and Mommy loved holding me and snuggling me so I could fall asleep sitting up. I slept the rest of the night after that.

Papa Rick is now in for his annual visit. Nana Peggy will come in a few days. I enjoyed the time we got to spend with him and will see him at least once more before they leave.

I can now say my full name "Emily Kathleen Boyer" and can spell "E-M-I-L-Y"! I am just talking non-stop! I have so much to catch up on and can't waste any more time! I love to sing, especially the Barney song and The Wheels on the Bus. I love to say, "This little piggie went wee wee wee home!" I like to eat "Oof-off o-gurt" (Olaf yogurt) for breakfast. When putting puzzles together, I said, "Puzzles are tricky sometimes!"
