2 1/2 Years...Soaking up summer before school starts

This month, we got to have a few more visits before school started.  Miss Rachel came over and we went over there with Molly, and we visited Mr. Kenny again.  We went to the library and the spray park with Benson on a rainy day.  It was so much fun!  We had a play date at our house and Jaxson and Harrison got to join in.  We played in the sprinklers and had a blast!
Our family went to an outdoor pool and I really enjoyed going in the baby pool and the big kid pool.  Then, our family went to Bonkers.  I had a lot of fun on the slides once I calmed down.  Mommy thinks I felt warm and maybe had a temperature.  Mommy and Daddy took Ellie and me to a boring meeting with them, but I played with my princesses.  We got to go to Cosmo park (but it was way too hot) and the Kids on Track finale (also hot!)
Nana Arden came over a few times this month while Mommy and Daddy were working.  We got to go up and visit Daddy's new school too.  I can tell things are about to change.  After Daddy went back to work at his new job (he will be home more often now-yea!), Mommy took me and Ellie to the ARC to swim.  It was a lot of fun to play with the fish toys in the water.  We visited my preschool one more time before I started going there.  Miss Kristina seemed really nice and taught me a new trick on the monkey bars.  I was really excited to go!
Going to preschool was a little strange at first and I didn't understand why I was going.  I threw a big fit after Mommy picked me up the first day and after I calmed down, I said, "You went to work."  We had lots of snuggles and now I can't wait to go every day!  I actually did miss my first Friday at school because of a fever.  I missed my first popcorn Friday!  I was there the second week though.  When Mommy checked on me at night, I told her in my sleep, "I ate popcorn today."
I say funny things all the time.  I call acorns "coconuts".  Daddy picked a Dora book to read at night and I said, "That would be fine."  Mommy and I saw the letter 'E' in a book and we both got really excited.  When Mommy said "for Emily", I grabbed her face very seriously and said, "You know it!"  I love to dip my food in "branch" dressing.
