5 Years, 1 Month...Getting ready for kindergarten!

I had a weekend of firsts!  I spent the night at Nana Arden's for the first time now that I am 5 while Ellie had her friend birthday party.  I also got to see my first movie in the theater.  She took me and my cousins to see How to Train a Dragon: The Hidden World.
We had a Dr. Seuss week at school so I got to wear silly socks, green (for green eggs and ham), wacky clothes, a hat, and PJ's!  It was a lot of fun!  I am excited to finish learning our letters because then we will start learning words!!!
I have really been interested in Pokemon lately.  I decided I was done with My Little Ponies and Little People.  I think Mommy started crying when I said it.  That night, we took all the toys out of my room and reorganized everything!  We decided what to keep, what to donate, and what to throw away.  Now, I know where everything is in my room!  We did pack up and keep the Little People for the future.  Those were some important toys for Ellie and me!  When we finished and I woke up the next morning, I said, "Let's tackle downstairs now!"
Our cousin Jacob took Ellie and me out for lunch at McDonald's for our birthday.  We had a lot of fun playing with him.  He is such a good cousin.  We celebrated his birthday too this month.  Mommy took me to a yoga class too.  I really enjoy my special alone time.
Ellie and Mommy's school (my future school!) had a carnival one night and Daddy got to take me.  I had so much fun playing the games.  I played a ring toss game, a book walk, a "popcorn" toss, a Plinko game, a spin the wheel game, and so many more!  Mommy station was a scavenger hunt and I was so worried that I wouldn't find them all, but I did!  Ellie and I were the first ones to turn ours in.  I think my favorite station was getting to make a bookmark.  I really love to draw and color and create!
I also was able to go to their school to watch Ellie's musical.  I really do look up to her. I pay a lot of attention to watch all that she does.   I ask a lot of good questions and really understand what she is talking about most of the time, and try to chime in!
Our family has been telling a lot of Dad jokes lately.  One night, Daddy was reading them and we were guessing the answer.  He asked, "Where do people go when they have two broken legs?"  Without missing a beat, I said, "Nowhere!"  I love to tell my family, "I love you to Mars (or Pluto) and back."
