I finished up my last soccer game. One game was so fun-we played Jonathan's team! I can't wait to have a play date with him! I really miss my preschool friends!
Ellie has been really busy lately with her friends and I miss her a lot. I get kind of jealous because I haven't had many play dates with my friends. Hopefully, that will change soon! I have really enjoyed playing with my Legos lately, and doing Pokemon battles with Daddy.
Mom took Ellie, Cami, and me to South Farm. We did the big corn maze twice, and I got to taste maple syrup! I chose not to milk the cow, but totally loved my Kona Ice!
One day, Ellie and I stayed with Nana Arden when we didn't have school but Mommy had meetings. We also got to celebrate Johnny Appleseed Day. I decided that I didn't want to go apple picking because I would just take the seeds out of the apple I was eating, plant it in the backyard, and pick the apples from there! We ended up going apple picking elsewhere.
I had a couple of accidents after school while waiting for Mom to finish working. I'm not sure why, but I was really upset with myself. I made a new teacher friend who helped me when I had my first accident. I still get excited when I see Mrs. Heath!
I also haven't been wanting to go to bed lately. I said it was because we no longer have nap time at school. I really miss having that quiet time, where no one is touching me. We were supposed to have a field trip to a pumpkin patch, but it was canceled because it had rained too much. That was fine with me. I was scared to go on that bus. Did you know it doesn't have seat belts? That's not safe!
We spent one day cleaning out my closet. I had a lot of clothes that no longer fit me. I'm wearing size 7 now! I got to go through a lot of Ellie's old clothes to pick out what fit me.
Our family went to the Mizzou homecoming parade. I really loved the Mr. Peanut Mobile, and Truman was riding in the Wiener Mobile! It was a lot of fun seeing everything, and I got to play Pokemon Go before it started. I played some with Lila's dad and brother! Later that day, we did our apple picking with Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Tom. I found lots of apples to fill my bag, and got to go on a bumpy tractor ride (also no seat belts!) We spent the night at their house and had lots of fun. The next day, we did a little shopping for new clothes for me, but mostly Ellie was the one who needed the clothes. I was really patient though, and I got to find my Pokemon costume for Halloween! Then, we got to go to Orange Leaf and visit Papa Ron before heading back home. We played a lot of Kings in the Corner with him. When we got home, we had Papa Rodney's 70th birthday BBQ at Aunt Lisa's. Boy, was that a busy weekend!
The health department came in to do flu shots at our school. I was really brave as usual and saw Ellie coming down the hall. She looked really sad and scared. Miss Schooler heard me say, "I was brave and got my flu shot. Ellie wasn't!" Mom made sure I didn't say that around her!
You know how I said that I would be having some friend things? Well, I got to go to Pottery Island for my friend Bella's (from the soccer team) birthday party. I picked out a spider to paint, just to freak Ellie out. Mom was gone that day, and Dad took us on a lot of errands. When she came back, she took us to the MU volleyball game where Ellie was ball girl again. I got to go to the Kids Carnival before the game. I went down on the court to support the team, but got scared when I couldn't find Ellie. Mom reminded me that she was on the opposite end of the court. I really enjoyed about half of the game, then got bored. However, my favorite players were the tallest (Kylie) and shortest (Riley).
