Our school did a fun virtual event called "The Masked Reader". We had to guess who was in the mascot mask with some clues and with them reading to us. I knew all three of them-Ms. Huhman (my kindergarten summer school teacher), Miss Maude (my first grade teacher), and Mr. Higgins (Ellie's 5th grade teacher)! It was so much fun!
I also got to go to my second birthday party in over a year! It was Peter's! It was so good to see him and we had some good ninja fun! I got to have him over for a play date a couple days later. I sure have missed him.
Easter was strange again this year. Ellie and Mom went to Kansas City for a volleyball tournament so we celebrated early. Papa Rick and Nana Peggy gave us money for our Easter presents since they couldn't be here, so Mom took me out by myself to go shopping. I got some fun books, stuffed animals, and a cool jacket. We did a plastic egg hunt and I had to find the pink, yellow, and blue eggs. Dad and I spent the rest of the time together and I got to visit Nana Arden and Papa Rodney and go to the park. I really love that! I cheered Ellie on from the computer.
I got my hair cut for the first time in a long time. I decided on just a trim. I also had a dentist appointment this month and they told me that I need to start doing my own brushing. I got a new electric toothbrush which is pretty cool. I still would rather have Mom or Dad do it, but I will if I am forced. Dad also had to get me ready for picture day at school. Normally it is in the fall but we were virtual then, it was rescheduled for early in the spring but I was absent that day with a sore throat. I finally got them taken (and I look so old in them!)
Finally, we got to go to Washington to visit my grandparents! It was so good to see them and hug them and go into their houses. I have really missed them and can't wait to go back soon!
It's Ms. Huhman!!!
