9 Years, 2 Months...Spring activities

We had Heroes Day (when students bring a "hero" to school with them) on a Thursday this month, so I had to miss it to go to EEE.  I was so sad and disappointed and tried to figure out how we could have someone come for me.  I think I was also sad because Mom and Ellie left to go with Grandma Kathy for a three day volleyball tournament.  The whole thing didn't seem fair.  While they were gone, Avonlea came over to play.

We had a fun spring break to make up for it.  I went over to Autumn's to play, got a hair cut, and Mom took me to Washington.  We took Papa Ron and Linda out for pizza for Papa Ron's birthday, and they took us out for ice cream.  We spent the night at Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Tom's and enjoyed our time there.  We left early before the storm came.  Avonlea and Aurora came over for a play date.  We found two baby squirrels that fell out of their nest that was blown away in the storm.  We tried to save them by putting them in a bucket in the tree overnight, but Oliver died.  Coconut survived and went to a rescue home!

Dad also took me to Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Tom's house for Easter when Mom and Ellie were out of town for a volleyball tournament.  I was thoughtful and asked Ellie if she wanted me to hunt for her eggs too.  I like being helpful, especially with Ellie.

I have been playing a lot of soccer, and I love it!  We are winning a lot of games, and I have been able to play goalie or defense.  Those are my favorites.  It is too much running when you play forward!  One of our games got cancelled and Dad and I joined Ellie and mom in Kansas City for Ellie's volleyball tournament.

I have had some issues with seasonal allergies this month, but I really don't like to take Benadryl.  I took the MAP test for the first time and thought it was pretty easy.  I won't get my results for quite a while.  We had Donuts with Dude's at school and even though Dad hurt his back, he enjoyed a donut with me at school in the morning.  My EEE class is Extreme Playground Makeover and I got to help clean up the EEE playground while redesigning the playground.  Mom and I went to play at Kyrie and Dean's house on a Friday evening.  I had a blast on the trampoline and learned how to hoverboard.  Kyrie and I are pretty good friends now.  We have a group of teachers' kids who like to play hide and seek around the school in the afternoons.  School is almost out for the summer!
