I got to visit Santa at Bass Pro for Christmas. It was so strange because Ellie didn’t come. This was my first time without her. We had our Christmas Eve visit with Great Grandma Rose and then went to celebrate at Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Tom's. We played the saran wrap game that Uncle Steve created. Afterwards, we drove back to Columbia for the Christmas Eve service at Church. The next morning we had Christmas at our house and then went to Lisa's. It was nice that Nana Arden came and stayed for a while. When we were driving home, we took a detour and got a kitten! It is Ellie’s kitten, but I love playing with him. She chose the name Smudge.
I spent a lot of time with friends over break. Leivann came to our house, and Autumn came
later. Papa Ron and Linda drove out to
celebrate Christmas with us at our house.
I was invited to Seraphina's birthday party at CoMo Breakout and CiCi's
Pizza. I had so much fun hanging out
with Savannah. I may just want my
birthday party at CoMo Breakout.
We had Brunch worship at Church and Emerson came over to our house afterwards
to play. Autumn came here for New Year's Eve but didn’t stay overnight. It was nice to have one of my friends here to
celebrate. Our family when over to Aunt Lisa's
for a Christmas get together. We got to
see Jonathan and meet his girlfriend Nina.
After all that fun, it was time to go back to school. I have started to use my Fitbit a lot to
count my steps at school. Our class went
to the planetarium for a field trip. We
have had several snow days this month.
On one day, we brought Otto to school to play, another one, Kyrie came
to play, and then we brought Savannah to school to play on the last one. Who knew school would be so fun on a snow
day?
One night, Molly got out and we couldn’t find her. It was so cold and it took hours until we found
her. I stayed in the house waiting to
see if she showed up at our garage or door while everyone else was scouring the
neighborhood.
Mom has been gone a lot to Ellie's volleyball practices and tournaments. I enjoy having friends over, like Savannah! I have started to enjoy playing basketball
after school. Sally’s mom made basketball shirts for us. Kyrie, Charlotte, and I are the Rodrigos. Sally, CJ, and Kellen are the Crows. I may not be into soccer as much anymore. Mom took me to Multicultural night at school
and I got to do several different crafts and we performed as a choir. Our family volunteered at the Food bank on
Saturday since mom is in charge of student council. I had a blast working with Otto and his
family! Aaron has also been over at our
house a lot, and we made and decorated cookies.
