10 Years, 10 Months...Thanksgiving time

More to come...

We tried to do a lot of fun things this month even though Ellie was struggling.  I had Savannah spent the night so that distracted me.

I went to Ellie's Hometown Heroes game in Jefferson City.  She was selected to play with multiple volleyball players from around the area and do a showcase.  I was mostly excited about getting Central Dairy before the game.  I also went to her volleyball banquet.  There, I was most excited about the cookies that they had.

We celebrated Thanksgiving early at Lisa's house.  It didn't feel like Thanksgiving, but we had fun playing games.  I got my hair cut and had another game night at Aunt Lisa's with Dad.  Our family went to Washington for Thanksgiving.  We went to Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Tom's and I was very quiet and kept to myself.  I didn't feel great and enjoyed reading my books.  We went to Papa Ron and Linda's the next day and played a lot of Fast Track, girls against guys (mom being a guy.)  The girls won every game!

We had some snow and Mom and I played outside, making snow angels and going sledding.  I have quite a few wiggly teeth and was scared to pull any out.  Ellie didn't hesitant pulled that tooth right out of there! We had our school Christmas concert so I got to perform with the 5th grade and the choir.  Ellie even came to watch!  We also enjoyed St. Nicholas' visit.

I have been looking forward to JA Biztown.  The 5th grade has been preparing by learning about jobs and checking accounts.  Mom wanted to go on the field trip but has missed so many days this semester and couldn't.  Dad was off that day and decided to go!  He was stationed to help another group though.  I was the CEO of BizMart, and our group made slime and sold bandanas and Mochi's.  I worked with Sally as the CFO and we worked well together.  I think we both decided to put our differences behind us. The 5th grade also went to the Nature school for 2 days again.  I was not looking forward to it, but made it through.  I'm just not an outdoors kind of person.

We finally had our last day of school before a long break.  It was Nana Arden's birthday, so we went to celebrate and eat dinner at her house.  It had been a long time since we had done that.  We also had our Church Christmas dinner.  I'm looking forward to opening presents for Christmas!
