There wasn't a lot out of the ordinary the past couple of weeks. We had two play dates with Ellie's friends, but not at our house. I really like going down the slide there and at Miss Bruna's. That and playing with balls are my favorite things to do!
One Saturday was really busy though! Mommy and Ellie ran in the Pumpkin Run, a 1.8 mile run on a gravel trail around a lake. That meant I got to "run" in a stroller! Mommy said that was a lot of hard work, but I don't know what she was talking about. I just sat there and pointed and giggled the whole time! Ellie had a soccer game later that day, and Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Tom came to watch. I loved having them there! We also went out to eat at Houlihan's afterward. The waitress said I was the best-behaved baby she had ever had at any of her tables. If only she knew how far I have come with my table manners! Then, Corinne spent the night at our house. The next day was Catherine's birthday party. Crazy busy!
This past weekend was really busy too with errands. Mommy took a lot of my old baby stuff to a place called Once Upon A Child so they could sell it to other families. Mommy said she was glad to get rid of the stuff, but was really sad to get rid of it too. I wish she would make up her mind! We also went to the library, Wal-Mart, Menards, and Ellie's soccer game! I was a champ the whole time!
I am starting to learn more too though. I really like to eat at the big kid table at Miss Bruna's instead of the high chair. I am also starting to get better at cleaning up my toys and following directions. I was told to stay out of Ellie's very tempting room when the door was open and I stayed just outside and looking in for a long time! I'm also more imaginative with my play and like to explore more than before. I have started saying "E" for Ellie. So far, the words I say spontaneously are: mama, dada, go, no, up, cheese, and down. I'm getting there!
I love Miss Bruna's!
Hanging out with some of my friends
Getting out of the bounce house
I can ride the scooter with a little help from Mommy! I could do this all day!
And Ellie helps me get around sometimes too!
We are good at sharing the bathroom for now...
