I started out the last half of the month with an eye infection-yuck! I woke up with gunky eye, and it got worse after Mommy brought me to Miss Bruna's. Daddy came and took me to the doctor and then Mommy stayed home with me the rest of the day. Nana Arden was with me the next day. I had to do eye drops three times a day for 7 days, and I didn't like it, but I did it like a champ! Thank goodness it is done though!
I had a ton of fun at Miss Bruna's! I got to paint a pumpkin and put glitter on it! We learned about fire prevention and safety and stop, drop, and roll. I even pointed to the fire extinguisher and then to the ground when Mommy dropped me off the next day to show that I remembered! We got to have PJ day too. I was a little confused by that because I knew it wasn't bedtime!
I got to go to my first wedding. It was Mommy's friend Jeanine and it was outside, on a fire truck! That was so cool to see up close!
We have had a couple of play dates too. I really like hanging out with Ellie's friends. I just wish there were someone as little as I am.
I'm starting to communicate a little more too. I have said "done" and "hot" and "Ba-ba" (Simba-Miss Bruna's dog.) When I want someone to sit by me, I pat the ground or chair to show them. It is very effective!
