2 Years, 11 Months...Christmas!!!

More to come!
What an exciting month!  So much time at home, and with family, and with PRESENTS!  We started off the month with a visit from Nana Arden and her friend Ellen.  Ellen brought us presents-I got an awesome Super Girl shirt and some Starburst.  I love Super Girl and I just yesterday asked to try "one of those things that were in the pantry that I got with my Super Girl shirt."  They stuck to my teeth!
I am also obsessed with Rudolph.  Daddy kept trying to hide my Rudolph book, but I got it back.  I just like what I know!
We had a really fun party at preschool.  We had yummy snacks and Santa came and gave me a candy cane!  This was where I started to realize that more presents were to come!
The next day (the 24th) started our family Christmas (4 of them to be exact!)  We went to Washington to Papa Ron and Nana Carol's first, and then to Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Tom's.  It was a really fast day because we drove back that night and got the house ready for Santa the next day!  He visited our house and gave me a Barbie in a pink/red dress and a red dinosaur.  Mommy and Daddy gave me a lot of different presents, but my big one was the Paw Patrol race track.  Ellie spent a lot of time making me an Olaf latch hook that is hanging in my room.  We went to Nana Arden and Papa Rodney's next.  It was here that I kind of forgot my manners.  I kept asking for "more presents"!  I just really enjoyed opening them.  I didn't mean to be rude!  I was also pretty tired!  We went to see the Magic Tree that night before going home.  It was really pretty, but I was ready for bed!
After Christmas, all I wanted was Daddy.  Mommy wasn't allowed to do anything.  Our family went bowling for the first time the next day.  That was pretty cool and there was so much to see.  I'm pretty sure I was what they call "over-stimulated!"  After bowling, Ellie and I started chanting "Red Lobster" in the backseat.  I don't know why, other than I love red and I love seeing my "lobster friends".  Since it is Daddy's favorite restaurant, he gave in.  We were pretty silly that night!   I was coughing a lot though and when I was in bed, I "slobbered all over my pillow" three times.  Mommy and Daddy called it puking.  All I know is that it was gross and I had to have my sheets changed and another shower.  Good thing that didn't last long and it was only because I was coughing so hard.
The next day, Mommy took Ellie and me up to Kirksville to visit Stacey, Jaxson, and Harrison.  I had so much fun jumping in the bounce house they have in their basement.  I also loved putting their puzzles together.  Harrison liked it too and we did a good job sharing for a while, but then we got a little possessive of the pieces.  It was all in good fun though!
I got to have a taste of New Year's Eve.  Basically, all I know is it involves a lot of people from play date at a party and we get to eat a lot of food and run around like crazy and wear silly hats and glasses.  Then Daddy brings me home.  We really did have a lot of fun just hanging out at home over break.  It was a lot of time to leave toys out that Molly likes to chew.  I told her, "Molly, you can't be trusted!"  When someone asks me a question, if my response isn't a loud "NO!", it is usually, "Yeah, a' course!" (of course!)  Mommy took us to the post office one day, but I kept calling it the "compost!"  Then, I kept saying I was going to the post office to see gorillas!    Mommy comes in to lay with me for a while after Daddy reads to me at night.  One night, I told her that we needed to rub glue on her chin, then on her stomach, and finally her eyes.  When she questioned me, I just said, "Everybody does it!"  Often after I eat a meal, I like to say, "I need something sweet!"  I like to "text" people emojis.  I texted Daddy one day and told Mommy that I found an ice cream with a smiley face on it.  She had no idea what I was talking about until about 30 minutes later when I said, "It was chocolate ice cream."  I didn't see what was so funny, and she kept telling people it was a poop emoji!
After all our time at home, it was hard to go back to school.  I do like when we can drop Ellie off at school first because then we get to drive past a junk yard and I get to see the "smashed cars."  That is the highlight of my day!
We did finally get some snow and I got to use my new sled.  The snow didn't last long.  It warmed up and then we were supposed to get more ice.  Even though it never came, we had a long 4 day weekend.  That apparently wasn't enough for me, because I decided to get pink eye my second day back and had to have another two days off from school!  It got warm again today and Mommy took me and Ellie to the bank, the library, and to Cosmo park to go down the slide!  We played Candyland as a family tonight and it was hard to focus on the game!  I think we are back to normal now though.
