We got to visit Nana Arden and Papa Rodney and played Legos with Corinne. My favorite game to play is called "Mommy's a dragon". Mommy stays on her hands and knees on the carpet and Ellie and I try to run around her while she tries to catch us. It's a lot of fun and screaming! I was able to go to a play date this month too. Mommy took Ellie and me to Fulton for an MMSCA meeting that her friend Susan won an award at. Daddy was there too, but we left after dinner.
Ellie and I got our birthday pictures taken at JC Penney's and Mommy was so happy with how well I listened and followed directions. She said the pictures turned out great! I had such a fun time posing and I really liked my new dress with the butterfly purse. I also loved riding on the "Eskimo-vator" (escalator.)
It has really been nice weather and we have been able to do some outside playing with bubbles and chalk and balls! One weekend, I stood backward on a chair and tried to reach for something. When I did, the chair fell backwards over. Mommy was afraid I was going to break my fingers, but I caught myself with my head on the floor and got a little scrape. We had a fun Valentine's party at my school, although Mommy and Ellie couldn't make it until the end. That night, Ellie and I were doing a dance party and I tripped and fell into the corner of the couch. I grabbed my head and cried, "It hurts! It hurts!" which I never do. Mommy and Daddy tried to keep ice on it while I watched some shows. They talked about going to the ER (whatever that is) but never did. Ellie was really upset and worried and Daddy had to calm her down! I was the one with the boo boo!
We celebrated Ellie's birthday the next night and I haven't been the same since. I have had a fever for the past week! I've been to the doctor twice and I have the flu. It is pretty miserable. While sick, I went to Ellie's orientation for EEE and got to hang out at her birthday party. By the time it was my birthday (we had to reschedule our family birthday party), I was pretty tired and miserable. When Ellie got in the car, I told her, "Hey Ellie, when I got in the car, I coughed up potatoes!" (Mommy thinks I was talking about snot!) I enjoyed opening my presents and kept asking Mommy if I could open the next one. I didn't even want my birthday brownie. Maybe we will be able to have fun celebrating it at school soon and then have our family party this weekend.
