I'm glad we waited until I was better, because I really did enjoy my family birthday party with my Ariel cake. I enjoyed being around everyone and had a lot of fun opening my presents. I was excited about each one!
I got to see Dr. Prica for my well check. I am 32.6 pounds and 39 inches tall. Ellie and I are finally even in height because I leveled out.
Katrice came to see me this month too. She asked me to write my name again and at first I said I couldn't but then wrote E, Y, and l without assistance. She also asked me to use tongs to pick things up. I didn't understand at first, but then I really liked it. I wanted to pick everything up with them!
We had a very busy Saturday. Mommy took me to a Mommy and me yoga class. I was more interested in the My Little Pony towel than doing anything else. Then we went to Hermann to meet up with the Moenkhoff's to hang out and went to a park. I said, "It's a fun, fun, fun day!" When I was going to go down a big slide, I was a little scared and said, "I'm just a little kid!" After this trip, Mommy took Ellie and me to Sonic to hang out with her friend's family. I enjoyed my ice cream a lot!
I am also very interested in word "patterens". When I hear words that rhyme, I get excited and say, "Hey! That's the same word!" When I was helping put groceries on the conveyor belt, I said to them, "Have a good ride!" Another thing I noticed this month, "My poop looks like the letter Z!" Speaking of which, I am only wearing diapers to bed at night now. I started to only wear underwear during nap times at school and so far, so good! I am such a big girl at school too. I know how to pump my legs on the swing! We started to not use my red puppy pacifier at nap times at home. (I haven't been using them at school since I started.) It isn't going as well. I said, "I not a big girl. I a baby!" We will see how next week goes!
Our family went to Jacob's birthday party and we also went to Barnes and Noble to use some gift cards that Ellie and I got. I got some princess books that has a reader with it, similar to ones that I got for Christmas. I love being able to have some independence with books! I got to go to a play date at Bella's house. I loved dancing with the other girls! We had a girls' night movie night and watched The Little Mermaid and ate popcorn. I loved it and when things got excited, I talked to Ariel on the screen!
