Our Baby Boyer 2: 5 Years, 11 Months...A Pokemon Christmas!

It was a Pokemon Christmas this year! We had so many celebrations! We went to Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Tom's on Christmas Eve. I had a blast playing Pokemon Go with Tom and Paige and even Becca! I was so exhausted when we went back home I fell asleep in the car and in front of the Christmas tree before saying good-bye to Elmo until next year. We woke up at home on Christmas morning. I was so excited for the gifts Santa gave me-a large mega Pokeball with tons of Pokemon cards and a 4 pack of Pokemon movies! I had so much fun putting all my cards in their new binder sheets. We went to Nana Arden and Papa Rodney's later in the morning. We enjoyed a big breakfast and opening gifts. The weather was so nice that we got to play outside and go for a walk, and we played lots of games before eating dinner. We went back to Washington to celebrate Christmas with Papa Ron and family. Ellie, Chase, and I played a lot downstairs. We spent New Year's Eve at Carrie's house with the play date friends.
The rest of Christmas break was a lot of fun! We played lots of new games, including Farkle, a dice game. Turns out, I am a pretty lucky roller. Mom and Dad kept saying they needed to take me to the casinos! I also played on my new Osmo, an interactive learning game with the iPad. I have really enjoyed reading The Magic Treehouse books with Mom. Mom, Ellie, and I went to Aunt Lisa's to hang out and play after Dad went back to work. Mom took Ellie and me back to Washington to take Grandma Rose out for lunch at Aldo's and a quick visit with Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Tom.
It was really hard to go back to school after our long break. I wanted to just stay at home. We were only there for two days, and Miss Schooler left for a week! We had Mrs. Guillory as a sub and she really liked me. She said I was a good helper, but I sure liked to talk! I even got moved during an assembly (that Mom was facilitating) because I was talking so much. I have also been pretty crabby, and using an attitude, and not following directions. I am now back on the marble system and doing so much better.
I wanted to play with Ellie one night but was told that she had homework. I replied, "She could just not do her homework!" I have it all figured out. Ellie started volleyball and I have had to sit through a lot of practices and games. It is really hard to be patient! Sometimes, Mom takes Ellie and I stay at home with Dad. However, our family was supposed to go to Springfield for Ellie's first tournament, but I woke up with a fever! Dad and I stayed home and I really missed them. I even woke up in the middle of the night saying that I missed Ellie. Dad took me to urgent care and they said that I had the flu and gave me the generic Tamiflu. It's so gross; I said, "This tastes like trash!!!" We aren't sure if I actually had the flu or not but I am back at school today!
