6 Years Old...Snow and Pokemon Galore!

I'm pretty sure Ellie got the same sickness I had last month and she missed a whole week of school.  I never meant for that to happen. I was able to go to one of Ellie's volleyball tournaments in Blue Springs.  It was a long day, but I did a good job trying to entertain myself.  At the next tournament, I got to stay by myself at Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Tom's.  I had a lot of fun playing with them.  I think I wore them out!
A couple of times when Mom had meetings at night, Dad got McDonald's for Ellie and me.  We had an early out at school and Ellie and I stayed in Mom's office for 2 1/2 hours.  We invited another teacher's kid in and watched Frozen.
There were a few memorable things that we did throughout the month.  We had spirit week at school, but I didn't do a lot of the activities. We had to go shopping for new clothes for our birthday pictures because we outgrew all of our old stuff.  We have been playing a lot of balloon volleyball and soccer.  I am getting a lot more aggressive and can't wait for real soccer to start.
We have had a lot of snow days this month too.  It was really hard to go back to school with all the breaks.  We even missed our Valentine's Day parties because of snow.  We did get to enjoy our snacks and exchange Valentines the next week, but it was different than a party.  Luckily, that gave us some extra time to prepare for our family birthday party (a Pokemon theme!)  I got a lot of Pokemon things and loved it!  I got a new Pokemon watch and have been fascinated by it.  I got so excited and said, "My watch is moving by itself!"  I also got a new Pokemon game and love playing it!  I was able to bring donuts to school today for my birthday!
On one of the snow days, Daddy took me to Stephens Lake to go sledding.  I was very brave!
Silly things I said this month:
Emily: "I'm taking you (Dad) off Mewtwo's list!" Mom: "What list is that?" Emily: "A list of people he likes."
Emily (giggling): "That song just said butt cheeks." (It was really bed sheets!)
Emily: "How do you get a booger out of your nose with a Kleenex?"  Mom: "You blow hard." Emily: "That seems like a lot of work for one booger!"
