I had my parent teacher conference too. Miss Schooler said that I am doing very well and am advanced in a lot of areas. The thing I really need to work on is not talking! I just can't seem to stop myself. I've had Pokemon stuff taken away and that doesn't totally stop me. I even had Mewtwo taken away for talking at an assembly (that Mom was running)! I cried, but it is just too tempting to talk to other kids! Just recently, I got my own desk and seat away from everyone. It doesn't bother me, and it's working!
I spent some time running errands the Friday after conferences, and Mommy took me and Molly to the park and we played Pokemon Go. I love that game! I also had my 6 year check-up. I am 4 feet tall and weigh 47 pounds! We left that night for Ellie's volleyball tournament in Parkville. I got to hang out with Luke (Lila's brother) and it was a lot of fun, but a long day!
Mom asked me how another student in class was treating me. My answer was, "With good loving care!" Dad asked me what I like most about myself. My answer was, "That I am loved." When he asked what I liked most about what I could see, I said, "My loose tooth!"
We had a day off school while Mom and Dad had to work, so Ellie and I hung out at Aunt Lisa's. I love being around my cousins, especially Camille. I was able to go to Peter's birthday party at Flipz also. He is one of my favorites. I got to wear a Jedi tunic and got a light saber that I love to wave around. Mom also took Ellie and me to her cousin's daughter Rachel's bridal shower. I had so much fun experiencing what a shower is. I loved Rachel and drew her a picture and gave her lots of hugs. I got to have punch that had soda in it. I had to ask Mommy why it was bubbling in my mouth. But I sure did like it! We also went to Jacob's birthday party for a short time.
Then things started to get weird. Everyone has been talking about the coronavirus and we got out of school for a couple of weeks. I'm not sure I completely understand what is going on, but I am taking it in stride. I really enjoy doing my packets at home (and I don't talk to anyone when I am working at home!) I have been reading more and playing with my family more. I do miss my friends and Miss Schooler though.
