6 Years, 2 Months...In isolation

This month has definitely been different than any other month in my life.  Other than a few trips to the park for a walk and a few drives, we have been home with no visitors.  It hasn't been all bad.  I get to do Zooms with my class, Facetime with Peter, Houseparty with friends, and Miss Schooler posts assignments for me to do each day.  It is nice to hear her voice.  It is very familiar.  I really do miss my friends though, and have mentioned Nori (a preschool friend) many times!
We try to have fun at home too.  I've enjoyed playing outside-soccer, baseball, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, and lots of walks (although these aren't fun unless Pokemon is involved.)  We have gone to Stephen's Lake a few times and I was able to do lots of Pokemon Go.  I've caught a lot of Pokemon, hatched a lot of eggs, evolved many Pokemon, and battled in gyms.  It's really a dream come true!  I love to read Magic Treehouse books and I love my screen time!  Ellie and I like to play sometimes when she isn't busy.  We like to play "the game" (which is really just play fighting) and have camp-outs in the living room.
Easter was definitely different this year.  Instead of visiting with 4 different sets of grandparents, we celebrated at home.  Papa Rodney and Nana Arden came over to visit us in the driveway with masks on.  We also Zoomed with Grandma Kathy, Grandpa Tom, and the Flanders family.  We talked to Papa Ron, and did another Zoom with Papa Rick and Nana Peggy.  The Easter Bunny hid eggs and I got to find pink, yellow, and blue eggs and got lots of Starburst.  I also got lots of Pokemon cards.  I used some Easter money to buy a new Salamance stuffed animal (that won't come in until June!)
I really do go with the flow, but it definitely is strange.  I really am growing up a lot, but I still like snuggling!
