We had quite a few soccer games, and Papa Ron and Linda came to one. Soccer practice is on Monday nights, so I missed half of Ellie's volleyball games. We have finished up our soccer season, and got pictures taken. We were pretty well-matched most of the games and at least didn't get shut-out at all. Our last game was on a Wednesday night (rescheduled) and it was the best! I got to play against three of my former teammates and was so happy to see them! Our coaches said they hoped to see us in the spring season. I'm excited to play again. I got to go to another volleyball clinic with Ellie's volleyball coach and the 17s team. I really do enjoy volleyball as well.
I was invited to Autumn's birthday party at the Mud Room. I really enjoy hanging out with her. She is a really good friend. I also went to a fun night at Flipz with Sally. She and I had a lot of fun too! We argue most of the time (usually involving screens, but also when we are jealous of the other or want the other one to like the same thing we like.) However, we get along great when it is not in the morning and if screens are not involved
Our family went to Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Tom's house for lunch (with had yummy soup) and then we all went apple picking! I love golden delicious apples and had them for snack every day since. We also enjoyed apple pie, apple crisp, and fried apples. Yum!
I got to have Avonlea over for a play date and we had so much fun! Mom made a turkey dinner that night and invited her whole family! Ellie was gone, but we had a nice "Friendsgiving" with them. We offered to have her spend the night, but she was a little too nervous. They left after watching the Mizzou football game. We called it a "late-over" instead of a sleepover.
We were off school one day and mom had to work. Dad didn't have school that day so here was here, but Ellie and I kind of had the day to ourselves (although I didn't see much of her.) I really like to just stay at home and do my own thing. It is hard when I have to go somewhere and entertain myself. Our family went to a Battle/Rock Bridge volleyball game and I read pretty much the whole time.
Our school had a fun Get the Scoop Night. I loved hanging out with friends and of course, the ice cream! I am enjoying school and making more friends in my class. I wasn't very close with anyone to start with, but I also miss being at Cedar Ridge when I go to EEE. I am doing much better with being focused and quiet when I need to. I'm looking forward to learning more this year!
